We are celebrating King’s day. Actually: my humans are celebrating it, like all the other humans in Holland. They eat and drink orange stuff, there are Dutch flags everywhere and music and people selling things they don’t need anymore. It is kind of a party. For them, that is. I do not care much about it. I mean: I don’t mind if they are having fun, but they don’t have to include me. I especially do not like this dressing-up-part of this national party. But alas, there is nothing I can do about it. Not today.
Spring is here! I can feel it and I can smell it, it is a fresh green kind of energy. Sparkling and joyful and bubbling, just like me. I love spring! We made a nice long walk, so M and P and I could take in this new energy that is all around us:
There are loads of flowers in the city where we live. Of course M had to make a picture of me against this background. So I posed for her, why not? As a bit of a celeb I am used to humans wanting to take pictures of me.
We had a great time. This is truly a beautiful city.
We went camping, again! Great! I can’t get enough of it, so I am very glad M likes it as much as I do. Do you know what I like most of it? Every time we go camping is an Adventure in itself, because one never knows what will happen. Last time we had fighting squirrels near the van, for instance. But even if there are no Adventures, I still love it. Because when we are camping we are doing my favorite things. Like sleeping late, together in one warm bed:
And hiking! We found some very pretty paths this time:
What is more: when we are camping I guard the van. I am very good at that. No one dares to come near to our van.
I may look cute, with my pretty ears and long nose, but make no mistake: I am a ferocious guarding dog. I really like sitting next to the van like this, watching the surroundings and staring meaningfully at humans, canines and squirrels that dare come too close. They keep their distance. Good. I love camping!
