Today I’d like you to meet Zuid. She is more than a friend, she is my godmother. When I first came to my new home, Zuid was there. I had never been without other dogs in my life, so M thought it wise to have Zuid along when I arrived. Zuid is living with friends of M and P and they were glad to lend her out for this noble purpose.
She is everything you can wish for in a godmother. She is sweet, she let me jump on her and bite her in the ears and sleep next to her. Like this:
As you can see, I really appreciated her being there. She made me feel at home pretty quickly. Now that I have grown up, I am not allowed to bite her in the ears anymore, but she is still sweet. She plays and runs with me, although she is having trouble catching up. When she is too far behind I wait for her, so I can jump on her when she arrives. Oh, and in the forest we like to chase pigeons. If it is a very juicy pigeon, she is sometimes almost as fast as I am.
Sometimes we go to the beach together. Since she can’t walk that far from our home, we go by bike. I don’t let many dogs into my cargobike, but Zuid is allowed to (so is Hester and Boet). This is how we travel:
P.S. I am not looking at the camera, because I spotted a pigeon.
